Torneo Padelada — Padelada

The Temporada lasts half a year

Every half year, a new story begins in Padelada. From April to September and from October to March, every Torneo Padelada, wherever it takes place, becomes a chapter of that story. Your name appears in the Temporada table, seen by everyone who plays alongside you. Tournaments that organisers run on their own terms matter too: they move your personal rating. But only Torneo Padelada count towards the Temporada table. The First Season runs from launch to the end of March. Its champions will be the first, forever.

Points

Every Torneo Padelada earns points for everyone who steps onto the court. The winner gets a hundred, the finalist seventy, third place fifty, and anyone who simply played gets ten. The more rivals, the more each place is worth: a win among forty-eight is worth almost twice as much as a win among twelve. Your best tournaments of the Temporada count. So one bad evening decides nothing, and one great day can decide everything.

Trophies

Anyone who finishes in the top three of a tournament gets a virtual trophy. And the top ten of the Temporada, in their region and overall, get a Temporada virtual trophy. Every trophy has a verification code: anyone can check it's real. It can't be bought or faked, only won.

Table and public visibility

There are no anonymous players in Torneo Padelada. By signing up for a tournament, you agree that your name and result will be visible in the Temporada table. That's not a small thing: here everyone knows who they played and who they beat. Every score correction is saved and visible to all participants, so there's nothing to argue about with the table. We never publish minors.
